Contract C: Traffic
West of US 29 to East of I-95
Upcoming Traffic Shifts (Fall 2010)
- Traffic will be switched from US 29 Northbound onto a new ramp to Briggs Chaney Road
- A new access ramp to Fairland Road will open to carry traffic from US 29 southbound onto Fairland Road
- US 29 will be shut down periodically through the spring of 2011 for construction of bridge decks and erection of overhead signs. These intermittent stoppages will be scheduled when traffic can be impacted the least.
- Lane closures for I-95 North and Southbound will be ongoing through the end of 2010 until Bridge decks that extend over I-95 are completed
