The Intercounty Connector, Contract C

ICC Constructors (IC3), A Joint Venture is the design-build team who has begun construction on the approximately four miles of the ICC from west of US 29 to east of I-95 and approximately two miles of Collector-Distributor roadway along I-95, including two complex interchanges at US 29 and I-95. This contract is the second of five that will create the 18.8-mile ICC, which will connect the I-270/I-370 corridor in Montgomery County to the I-95/US1 corridor in Prince George's County.

The IC3 team has knowledge and experience working on large, complex design-build highway projects in the region. Bringing a blend of local understanding and large scale operational skill sets to develop innovative solutions to meet the goals for environmental compliance, safety, quality and long-term maintainability on the ICC project.

IC3 has assembled some of the most financially sound companies in the region, including local designers and construction firms, suppliers and subcontractors, to be part of the IC3 team. The IC3 team has the necessary experience in design-build project delivery and benefit from having successfully worked together on other similar projects in the region. The IC3 team's companies have collectively been providing their services for over 300 years.

Principal Participants and Members of IC3 are: Shirley Contracting Company, LLC, Clark Construction Group, LLC, Atkinson Construction Company, LLC, Facchina Construction Company, Inc., and Trumbull Corporation. The Team's lead design firm, providing overall project design coordination and management, is Dewberry & Davis, LLC.
